Pollution and damage to the environment have been increasing day by day but there are a very few ones out of the whole population who are trying to make an effort to improve the situation. There has been the establishment of various laws by the government in various countries not to protect Mother Nature and the environment that people live and work in so that that with good health, a good life can also believe peacefully. One of those mandatory rules to be followed is the implementation of dust extraction systems to be put up in factories in order to filter the toxic fumes released by them.
The mechanism of dust extraction systems basically aims to improve the quality of the fume release from their chimneys. Its simple mechanisms allow the machines to collect and dispose of the impure, toxic waste and particles before being released into the air so that no harm is caused to the environment. These systems are designed with a view of being able to handle large volumes of dust, dirt, and waste without causing any damage or problem to itself. A basic system like this mainly consists of 3-4 important parts which include dust filters that are specially made for the purpose of dust collection, blower, and then finally a well-constructed cleaning system which filter the dust and disposes of it.
Dust extraction systems should not be confused with air purifiers. Dust collectors help in accumulation of dust in the filters which can either is cleaned or disposed of but on the other hand, air purifiers have disposable filters itself to get rid of the dirt.
Design of Dust extraction systems
To begin within simple words, the dust extraction systems are specifically designed in such a manner that they collect the toxic particles and other pollutants from escaping into the air and are caught in between the filters of the mechanism so that no fatal damage is caused to the environment. They basically purify the fumes which are released from factories. There are mainly 4 types of dust extraction mechanisms which are mainly used by people: Electrostatic precipitators, wet scrubbers, inertial scrubbers, and filtered collectors.
There various dust collectors which have an inlet which allows the fumes to enter the mechanism in order to be filtered. Then the fumes pass through the blower where they pass through the filters and get their toxic particles collected and the purified gas is released into the air. In between is the cleaning system of the filter, which is designed to hold volumes of dirt and dust. It is the part of the internal body which accumulates all the toxic pollutants and then are disposed of or reused for other purposes. The other forms of the same mechanism might have a few changes in the internal arts or in application, but the intention of all dust extraction systems e same.
Importance of dust extraction systems
The importance of these systems is that it helps in keeping the environment clean and makes the working environment safe and sound for the people living around it. The employees get a safer working environment to work in and thus, will work more efficiently and effectively. If not looked after the environment properly, then the health of the employees will be put into great danger, they would be prone to more illness and diseases and thus, will be absent from work. With fewer workers, there would be less production ad it will be the loss of the factory. So, installation of dust extraction systems should be done with the viewpoint of incurring long-term benefits.
